Life, Justice, and Peace Committee

STFOA Life, Justice and Peace Committee is St Francis of Assisi and Parish Family 21 parishioners interested in studying and understanding how Catholic Social Teaching themes call to us to respond to injustice. Social Justice topics issues invite a deeper Catholic understanding of response and action. We value each other's sharing of personal values, input, and specialized interests.  The Life, Justice and Peace committee offers educational resources, events and activities that reflect Catholic Social Teaching. We work with local Catholic and community faith communities to advocate for those whose voices are not heard. 

To build a culture of life, justice, and peace in our communities and beyond, the Archdiocese offers educational and formational resources, information, and activities that reflect the richness of Catholic Social Doctrine and its teachings on human dignity and our common call to love our neighbor as our Lord has taught us.
