“The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi is celebrated on October 4.
All St. Bernadette parishioners are invited to St. Francis for a special Feast Day celebration during this Jubilee Year.
Information can be found in the weekly bulletin.”

"In January, Pope Leo XIV proclaimed a “Special Year of St. Francis” to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi.
In this Jubilee year, the faithful may obtain a plenary indulgence.
The best opportunity for us is: on a single day: to receive Holy Communion, to make pilgrimage to St. Francis church, and to pray for the intentions of the pope.
Within twenty days before or after that day, we must make sacramental confession.

Therefore, we invite you to attend the regular Mass times: here at St. Bernadette, at Our Lady of Lourdes, or at St. Francis, before making your way to the Feast Day celebration.
The 10:00am Mass at St. Francis will be a special celebration with the first-class relics of St. Francis & St. Clare of Assisi & St. Carlo Acutis present.

During the general celebration beginning at 11:00am, the church will be open for Eucharistic Adoration, for veneration of the first-class relics, for reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation; and ending with Solemn Benediction.
