Social Studies: The curriculum covers history, geography, civics, and economics with Catholic Social Teaching woven throughout. Students learn to understand and respect different cultures, developing a global awareness that will help them to make informed decisions in their future. Technology is used for research and presentations. Field trips to Washington, D.C. and to local historic sites and museums enhance the curriculum. Social studies and language arts are woven together through literature. The art curriculum for each grade is reflective of subject matter in the social studies curriculum.
