Music: Students in grades Kindergarten through fourth have music lessons each week, which focus on learning and appreciating music of all kinds.  Band is an option in grades 5 through 8, as is choir for students in grades 4 through 8.  In addition, there is an all-school musical each year, performed by the students at the Highline Performing Arts Center.
