About Our School

St. Francis of Assisi School is a Catholic parish school with a 50-year tradition of academic excellence provided in a caring, Christian environment. We are proud of our reputation in the community and our emphasis of service to that community.

We have set high academic standards, and we strive to supply the resources to support those standards. St. Francis School offers a curriculum which brings a diverse and rich experience to each child. We believe that every student can succeed with the unique and special gifts he/she has received from God. Our goal is to build a strong foundation for our students that will support them throughout their lives.

How do we measure our success? The students are objectively measured, using tools such as the Iowa Test of Basic Skills and the Washington Assessment of Student Learning. Of equal or greater importance is the feedback we receive from the high schools our graduates attend, and from our former students and parents as well. From all indications, our students are very well prepared-spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically-when they graduate from St. Francis of Assisi School.
