SacraMentors
The SacraMentor Men's Group at St. Francis of Assisi is a small Catholic community of men committed to supporting each other in living a Christian life characterized by acts of love, kindness, appreciation, and forgiveness.
The SacraMentors program presents to participants a process of spiritual growth that leads to a closer relationship with God and our fellow brothers and sisters. Graduates of the program continue the process of sanctification in small faith groups that meet weekly in a safe and loving place; these Catholic men support each other in growing through their faith journey.
Each week, the SacraMentor men of St. Francis meet for sharing of life experiences, study scripture, plan parish service activities. A sample of topics discussed are:
> How to incorporate spirituality into self worth and life experiences.
> How to deal with grudges and emotional wounds.
> How to be a brother to other men instead of a competitor.
> Why achieving material goals in this world does not satisfy our deepest hungers.
Meeting times for 2011:
The group meets every 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursdays each month or in other words, the Thursdays when the Kinghts of Columbus do not meet.
We meet in the Parish office conference room at 6:30 PM.
