Keep answering that question: Where Have I Seen GOD Today?

Gospel Reflection for the Weekend
Matthew 25: 14 – 30‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will
give you great responsibilities.
Today is the Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time!
The Gospel today is a parable where the Master gives out talents to the servants and wants to see what they
will do with them. Two of tem use the talents and their talent grows. The third one buries his talents and does
not let it develop.
We all work hard, have busy schedules, get caught up with life’s demands. Are you using the gifts God has
given you? Are you intertwining your life and gifts together? Or are you letting life take control and not allowing
yourself to enjoy your naturally gifted self?
Reflection Question: Answer the questions above. What is your gift? Are you using it to the full
potential?
CELEBRATING THE YEAR OF SAINT PAUL - We are now on the 2nd letter, continuing writings from:
BENEDICT XVI St. Paul & New Outlook(Saint Peter’s Square Wednesday, 22 November 2006
St Paul and the Church…Continued from last week’s Bulletin…)
Paul, therefore, was at the same time converted to Christ and to the
Church. This leads one to understand why the Church later became so present in Paul’s thoughts and heart.
In the first place, she was so present that he literally founded many Churches in the various cities where he
went as an evangelizer. When he spoke of his “anxiety for all the Churches” (II Cor 11: 28), he was thinking of
the various Christian communities brought into being from time to time in Galatia, Ionia, Macedonia and in
Achaea.

HOUSEHOLDS OF FAITH
Each of us, members of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, is in a household of faith. Whether we are single, married, with or without children, divorced, re-married, empty-nesters, whoever we are, we live in a household of faith.
We come together, at Mass, at parish or school events, for service projects, in happy and sad times, to build community with our parish family.
Throughout the year, we ask you to ENGAGE L.I.F.E. here at Saint Francis. There will be gatherings for the whole parish, multi-generational. There will be Service and Social Events, Spiritual gatherings and Educational opportunities.
Let’s celebrate and build our community
Here are THE FACTS OF L.I.F.E.
1. L.I.F.E. is not an answer to our Faith Life and Journey – IT IS A TOOL PROVIDER
2. The tools L.I.F.E. gives each of us helps us to know our Catholic Faith better
3. L.I.F.E. Events are NEW and are a work in progress
- So continue to come and grow with each other
4. Plans have been made to make the events more engaging for kids and teens.
5. L.I.F.E. is an invitation to all parishioners who want to:
a. Learn more about their Catholic Faith and Traditions
b. Build Community
c. Share Stories of Life and Faith
d. Eat Good Food Together
6. We search for God together. We grow in community as we get to know and share life with one another
7. L.I.F.E. Topics will ALWAYS give you an IDEA or CONCEPT to walk away with
- So even being raised Catholic, we can continue to grow
8. It’s easy to think of reasons why not to attend Events that teach us about our Catholic Faith and Traditions - Think of reasons why YOU should and could attend
9. L.I.F.E. is just a clever title to hopefully attract you to come out and join with your fellow St. Francis Community!
10. DON’T GET STUCK ON THE WORD L.I.F.E – LIVE L.I.F.E. BY EXPERIENCING IT!
