Welcome to our the St. Francis of Assisi website and Parish Family.
St. Francis is a parish of about 1300 families. We think of ourselves as a welcoming parish. If you come to visit, I hope that you will find that to be a true statement. We have active programs in Faith Formation for children as well as adults. We have outreach services for those who are homebound or in the hospital as well as our senior population. Of course we have our school which is an excellent school with many involved parents and children. We have an active liturgy and music program in the parish.
I hope that you will find what you are looking for. As you can see we have both a parish and a school website which are easily accessible.
As a parish we are here to serve you in whatever way we can. While our staff is limited in numbers as well as working hours, we do our best to respond to your needs and inquiries. You can take a look at the website to see what programs are available and what staff we have. We have a Pastoral Council which helps us discern the goals and priorities for the parish. We have a Finance Council to help us plan our budget and financial needs. We have a School Commission, a Liturgy Commission, and a Faith Formation Commission to help with planning in those areas of ministry.
May you find the information you need as you browse our website. If you have any questions give us a call or email us and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Blessings and peace to you as you move through your day.
We will send you emails when the time is right to keep you informed and engaged. The email will come from "StFrancis@stfoa.org" with the Mail Chimp logo and details on how to change any preferences at the bottom.

The Sacred Paschal Triduum
Holy Thursday brings to an end the Forty Days of Lent, which make up the season of anticipation of the great Three Days. Composed of prayer, almsgiving, fasting and preparation of the Catechumens for Baptism, the season of Lent is now brought to a close, and the Three Days begin as we approach the liturgy of Holy Thursday evening. The Easter Triduum is the center, the core of the entire year for Christians. The community is invited to plan ahead so that the whole time from Thursday night until Easter Sunday is free of social engagements, free of entertainment, and free of all but the simplest nourishment. (At Home with the Word)

Please join Fr. Dick, our Pastor, in support of the Catholic Church of Western Washington by giving to the 2014 Annual Catholic Appeal Campaign! Each year at this time, we pause and consider all the good that is done because we give: the homeless are sheltered; the elderly are cared for; our seminarians are prepared for future ministry, to name a few. Great things are accomplished in the name of Jesus!
The support of every parish is crucial to the success of the Archdiocese and its many ministries and services. We have a parish goal of $128,176 for our share of this year’s campaign. YOUR participation is vital to our success as a parish – I am counting on you to help us achieve our goal.
